Default Proposition for Trade Channel tweak.

I think the trade channel could benefit from one simple tweak: A division between WTB and WTS. I'm sure there are many people looking to just buy things, and others just wanting to sell their goods. A seperate section, while not necessary, would really streamline the entire process;not forcing you to troll through 150 entries, possibly lowering the number by 50%(though usually many more wts's than wtb's). What do you all think.

has a post suggesting a section for services. PErsonnally I like the idea of there being all three.

Where would WTT fall under?
Or create a third section for it.

I dont think anyone uses WTT. WTT never lass anyway. The person who writes WTT usually want more valuable or easier sale item. SO thats no need

this would really help, as it is now its jsut a messy office with this change it'd all be filed and easier to find what you want.

I've had this thought many time myself. I do plenty of WTS, but, when I'm looking for WTB's, I have to wade through a bunch of posts and I miss a lot. WTT hardly ever shows up so that there doesn't need to be a seperate category. WTT could be combined with WTB's.

I agree WTT hardly is hardly ever seen, but if you pay attention really really hard you can see people wanting to trade minipets.

/signed - this would be helpful.

The Party Search needs work. Frankly, it sucks horribly. Very limited characters (letters and numbers) can be entered, often hard to read in busy places like Kamadan and it's missing the most common and expected feature, an actual SEARCH box to type in what you're looking for and only see those results.

I hope Guild Wars has learned from this horrific mistake (their "trading" system) and implement an Auction House.

There is no need for another channel. Two new checkboes would do, for a total of three:
Buy - Check it to see all the WTB lines.
Sell - Check it to see all the WTS lines.
Other - Check to see all the WTT and the rest of lines.

For the party search panel I would do add three separate sections.

and i do like the idea above about having tickboxes, either idea would help with selling and buying in busy districts alot.

Perfect Idea, this is basically what I had in mind, though was not precisely clear. We have the checkbox filters in the chatlog, so why not here?

Be nice to take it a step further and add another text box that filters the WTS or WTB lines shown by whatever you type in it. EG, I type 'armbrace' and only those ppl buying or selling them are listed. Too late in the day now though.

This would make it so I'd have to accidentally leave two channels on to not see guild chat.
Excellent!
